What is VE Testing?
VE, or Volunteer Examining, Testing is the procedure by which new amateur radio operators become licensed. A simple test is involved for the Technician level amateur radio license, with two addtional levels - General and Extra, also available. QRZ, a website featuring vast amounts of information on amateur radio, has a good collection of practice tests and study guides available free online.
When is VE Testing?
VE testing sessions are scheduled for 3PM on the third Saturday of each month at the Greene County Library location Library Station, 2535 N Kansas Expressway in Springfield. Contact Lee Brown at (417) 831-3016 for more information.
